Forum Charter

[Zarifa]

Our forum charter can be summed up by answering one question: why did we start a forum at Zarifa's.com?

1. The enjoyment of belly dancing. I've been a dancer for over 15 years, but no longer dance professionally. I opened Zarifa's Touch of Egypt primarily because it is a passion of my life. I also teach classes in belly dance, but for one reason only: because it's something I love to do. This forum is an extension of the satisfaction I get sharing dancing with new students.
   
2. Education. The biggest problem with all of the topics in this forum are that most of them go under attack due to misinformation. With open member discussions, we hope to dispel some of the myths and misconceptions about belly dance, Egyptian worship and appreciation for ancient Egyptian civilization, and metaphysical interests.
   
3. Networking with like-minded members. Not everyone is into belly dance, Ancient Egypt, or metaphysical topics like the tarot, astrology, Paganism, or spirituality. I hope to bring you all together in a forum where you can interact with each other, exchange ideas, and find the answers you seek.
   
4. Neutral ground for open discussion. There are many forums on the Internet, so why one more? This forum provides a safe haven to discuss, debate, and dialogue over these eclectic topics in a warm, friendly, and open atmosphere where individuals feel free to speak their personal views. We will not tolerate attacks on any member simply because their beliefs differ from another's.
   
5. LIVING "The Secret." There really is no "secret" to "The Secret." What you give to the universe is what you will receive; as ye sow, so ye shall reap. This is no new concept. This message board is one of many investments I have made in the interest of fostering our community; it is one of my gifts to all of you. Now it's you're turn to pay it forward. :-)
