Thanks Maia and Devi for using the RSVP page. The list is up to view, I will post the line up when it's closer to the date of the dance. Please pass the word around. Dancers who just show up will not be able to dance but only at the dance around. Trying to get this to run smoother for us. Thanks again for your understanding.

regular stuff.. or are you going to do something Halloweenish? theme's?.. share a hint of what you are doing so no one shoe's up and has someone else use your music just before you are scheduled to go on

Actually the "same song" problem applies to the RSVP program. We were thinking of having dancers add the song # on CD and song title for exactly that reason. Problem is, it's very likely some dancers won't know the names of the songs. Do you think that would over complicate it for them?

We could do like some places do. Have them upload the music to the web site, I burn a CD with exactly one minute between, and we throw it in and let it spin.

but seriously.. I have done shows that require music be sent in advance and they set it up tracked and ready to go.. that just makes you plan and not change a the last minute.. not so flexible if you decide you are in a different mood. but I think the advance send is what they use to prevent the duplication. At Rakkasah this year.. the group right before used the same entry song i was using. Here you are a HUGE event that lasts 3 days and you don't hear your music once.. then the group just before you- used the same one !!!

but sharing song names would be fine when we sign up.. and most dancers know the name of the song [ or at least should..] at minimal know the rhythm.
