Affiliate Program Documentation

This document details how you can begin earning 10% on every sale you refer to Zarifa's Touch of Egypt. This is a work in progress and will be updated from time to time, you are invited to bookmark this page and return to it often.

Program Description

Zarifa's Affiliate Referral Program is an automated referral tracking system by which you can earn a 10% commission on every referral that results in a sale, and the sale does not suffer from item returns or charge backs within 30 days of the sale. You will not receive payment until a) the sale is 30 days or older, and b) you have accrued a minimum of $50.00 in commissions credits.

You earn commissions by either a) having the customer enter the affiliate ID into the field provided on final checkout, or b) crafting a link on your web site, blog, Facebook page, or other social networking page.

All affiliate program applications must be approved by Zarifa's Touch of Egypt before the affiliate account will be made live. Once live, you may log in you your Affiliate Control Panel located on this web site to review sales, payments, and update your account information.

Each time a customer makes a sale that properly registers your affiliate ID or a payment is issued to your account, you will receive an automatic email notification of the sale or payment. Although Zarifa's will never automate emails to promote this site, as a member of this program you may receive important program updates via email.

To get started earning commissions on referrals:

Join the affiliate program.
Provide your affiliate ID to prospective customers, or if you have a web site, blog, Facebook page, or other web resource, insert a link to Zarifa's shopping cart or other product pages that includes the ID.
When your commissions reach $50.00 or more in sales over 30 days old or older, Zarifa's will pay you the commissions you've earned.
Log in to your Affiliate Control Panel to review the sales credits you have earned, payments you have received, and update your account information.

We've made it as simple as possible to begin earning commissions on sales right away, and there are two ways to do it:

Direct Referral

Upon application into the referral program, you received an affiliate ID. Instruct prospective customers to look for the Affiliate ID field on the final checkout form. Have them enter your affiliate ID into this field and you will be credited with 10% of the sale. . . . Details and screen shots

Sometimes it's difficult to communicate the simple instructions above, so there's an even easier way to earn commissions. If you have a web site, blog, or participate in social network sites such as Facebook, Twitter, or MySpace, you can create a link on your pages to product pages on Zarifas.com that includes your affiliate ID. . . . Verify the Affiliate Cookie

If you use the second method, an optional step is to verify the cookies are set on visiting the product pages at Zarifas.com via your affiliate links. Access your browser's cookies, and after clicking your link, look for the ZARIFAS_AFF_ID cookie set by Zarifas.com. . . . Details and screen shots
